Inject problem

On monday I injected 1.5ml primo combined with 1ml test prop and did a glute shot using 1 1/2" 23g. Today is Friday and it still hurts when I press on it and I can feel it going up stairs. I have a lump there but it isnt red or swollen or anything, no fever. Im starting to get a little nervous about this, it isnt getting worse but still pretty sore. I followed all sterile procedures.Should I be worried?

Hmm, if there's no redness or heat coming off it, then I doubt that it's infected.

Having said that, I would keep a close eye on it. If it doesn't subside within the next couple of days, I would check it out with your doc. It's already been 4 days, so the injection pain should be subsiding...

Not at all. If its a painful inject, try to plan your training around the bodyparts you inject.

When I press it against my seat its sore like not deep in the muscle but between the skin and the muscle...would ice or heat help?

Heat it up, rub it for 15 minutes with Icy Hot, and then ice it.

this is what i did when i had the SAME problem but in my quad, it hurt to squat down or bend over to pick up something etc... i was starting to worry but it went away after 2 days. i got in the hot tub and massaged it for a while then iced it and it felt alot better and stretched.

Beat me to it,i was going to suggest sit in a tub of hot water.

so use a heating pad first? for how long? then message for 15 mins with icy hot then ice it for how long?

I'd heat for 15, rub for 15 and ice for 15.

A hot tub, hot shower, or a heating pad.

Remember not to put ice directly on the skin, even if it's in a bag. Do it through underwear, boxers or some shorts.

Try doing your shots right after you shower. But before you get in the shower get what you need ready and then set it in front of a little space heater if you have one, about a foot away. Heated up juice is not only much easier to inject, but I found it greatly reduced the amount of painful shots and lumps afterward. Some people I know hold the base of the syringe under warm water before injection if they don't have a space heater.

This can help. But make sure the oil is not too hot. Injecting hot oil is going to damage your muscle.

Always good to have a anti-inflammatory medicine around when being anywhere near Prop. Some cant take the pain from the injection. I know a few that way, it doesn't affect me (not sure why) but I do keep naproxen on hand all the time. This may help if none of the other suggestions do. Like mentioned above, no streaks, redness or heat youre probably fine.

Thanks for the advice guys. The primo is HG and the prop is UG but I do heat up my pin with a hair dryer before injecting. I can usually tell how hot the oil is by how fast it trickles down the pin.I shouldnt have done so much oil in one spot It feels like the pain and lump is in between the skin and muscle..I will try what you suggest later...if it comes down to it I have levaquin750 anti biotics...It hasnt really gotten worse or better in the last few days. who knows

Aren't primo and prop notorious for injection site pain?

Aren't primo and prop notorious for injection site pain?

Look guys, I realize its your own body and you are going to freak out a little bit. But let us be realistic here. Primo isn't a comfortable inject, neither is prop. Depending on how the prop was made, it could crash outta solution once the BA is absorbed by the body thus causing crystallization in the muscle (its what I would theorize that happened).

Let's not make a bigger deal out of this than we need to. Some injects hurt, that is the name of the game we play. If it isn't red and hot, you are fine. Do cardio, use those muscles, be active, heat, all the aforementioned help with pain.

If you are going to use steroids, you are going to have painful injects...it is just part of the territory.

Enancer: You are fine man, and I am glad you posted as we seem to be easing your mind.

You heat up your pin? or your syringe?

I wouldn't do anything to the pin or blow air onto it like that at all. I am super cautious about the sterility of pins. Heat the vial or the amp with the oil, not the pin or the syringe. Heating the pin won't heat the oil as it goes through it.

You can blow the syringe, i suppose, so long as you have the pin sleeve over the pin to maintain sterility.

Oil maintains heat pretty well so just heat the amp/vial and then draw, change pins and shoot.

Thanks bro,the reason im bugging out a little is 2 days or so is the longest ive had pain this doesnt seem to be getting better or worse for that matter. The lump just feels weird like its in between the muscle and skin...doesnt feel normal we will see what happens

Heat up the Syringe is what I meant, the barell...I also do it with the draw pin on so nothing blows onto the pin I inject with..when im done heating it up I put a fresh head on.

you prob just went thru a vein.
