Reality is every situation is different and should be looked at on its own merits. To many people are quick to apply a blanket rule and go on the attack without actually knowing whats going on in the background.

Agreed completely - as previously stated - sometimes life issues get in the way (e.g. accidents, etc.) - but if a vendor has a strong reputation with solid customer support, warning users to beware (as @Allupfromhere did) - while providing the vendor time to review & complete/resolve existing orders is a fantastic way to address the issue.

Congrats @Allupfromhere and the mod team for their approach to this situation.
