Incline Bench kills my shoulders

Not sure if its the way I'm lifting or what. I've gripped the bar in various places and still the same. It just seems when I'm doing the exercise, my shoulders are forcing me to quit before I want to.

I'll probably just go back to the flat bench with incline db's. Just was wondering what other people think about the lift. Maybe my shoulders are just messed up, idk.

this is what works for me:

a bit wider than shoulder grip.
stop the bar a few, maybe 3-4 centimeters from touching the chest then push it up again.
dont lock out the arms at the top.
and from the bottom, squezee the chest all u can.
make sure to inhale a lot of air when youre at the bottom.
the chest should stick out more than the shoulders, above the shoulders. push the chest out.

kind of hard to explain but i hope u get it.
im sure oull get more tips from other ones on the site.

this is a good site.

remember not to lock out, stop a few centimeters from the chest, and on the way up squeeze.
keep the back a little bit arched, stick out whit the chest and back whit the shoulders.
remember the breathing.
u might lower the weight a bit, learn the motion and feel the chest, and work our way up.
gice it a few workouts and think CHEST.
