Pumping Iron DVD - early '03
The Pumping Iron extended version will finally premiere on Cinemax next month (Nov. 15). It has an extra hour of never-before-sceen footage with Arnold, Lou, and the guys. It's 145 minutes (the orginal was 85 minutes). No word on whether Arnold (who now owns the rights) had his un-PC comments and his dope-smoking cut out, but that's long been the rumor.
The inside scoop is that a deluxe DVD will be out in early 2003. Expect the original (not sure about edits), the hour of vintage extra footage, and new interviews and updates with participants (shot 2 years ago).
