i'm taking tomorrow off

I still have 6 vacation days left, so tomorrow i plan on:

sleeping a little late

making cappuccino and reading my book while i eat breakfast

packing up two bowls that I sold and taking them to the post office

smoke

wrapping all the christmas gifts (i have at least 30 or 40 to wrap), divide them up by family, and put them under the tree or in other rooms.

clean my dining room, kitchen, and living room

call my grandparents

organize my studio

make dinner



i think i'm being overly ambitious.

I grew some for my bro-in-law once because he didn't want my sister finding out. I used a phototron and it made my place smell really good :)

it is awesome.
i dried some in a closet and it smelled like sweet earth.
 
There is currently a big ice storm going on, so I doubt there will be any work tomorrow for me. Hope the power doesn't go out or Im gonna be board with no internet
 
Lucky you! I am having coffee in an empty office. Nobody will stroll in here for another hour at least. I wish I were still home in bed.

what do you do?
i always get to work early. i'm not the first one there, but it's nice and quiet.
then i go workout at the company gym.

I am an accountant. I get here at 5:45 every morning so that I can leave at 2:45 to pick my oldest up from school. I don't mind the early hours it gives me more time in the evenings. It is nice because now I have NO traffice to deal with. No traffic this early in the morning and also none at 2:45. It used to suck spending 2 hours a day in traffic!

LOL! No I was still an accountant. When you drive during prime traffic hours it would always take me an hour to get to and from work. 1 hour in the morning and 1 in the evening so 2 hrs a day! ;)

that's great.
that's what my coworker does. I get in around 7:30 and leave at around 4. When i started the job, it was a new position so they weren't sure if i'd be full or part time. They decided to pay me an hourly wage, instead of salary, so that if it went full time, there'd be no adjustments and so that during the slower times of the year, i wouldn't have to sit around and do nothing.

it worked out great for me, because i don't HAVE to work 40 hours a week, i get paid for whatever time i'm there, and if i take calls or do any work on the weekend, i can submit it.

That sounds like a great deal! No need to sit there bored out of your mind if it's slow just get the heck out. Especially Fridays! That would be nice. We are real busy a lot of the time, but there is about 1 week in the month where it is pretty slow. It is times like that when I wish I could just go home. My boss is a workaholic though so she isn't one to tell people "go enjoy your day and get out of here" she will find work for you to do. LOL!

I work in the technical field, and although the money is good, it's not about that. It's more like a sickness I was born with.

Yeah well you are single right? I can kind of understand that. Maybe if you ever settle down and have a family one day that will change. I think a lot of people that are single are in work mode like that unless they have a family then they realize the family is way more important.
