Amid Union Protests, More Democrats Go On the Lam -- This Time in Indiana - FoxNews.com

So a majority of congress in Indiana and Wisconsin are setting out to enact legislation that they were elected to enact, and the opposing party flees the state to avoid having to face their duty of conducting a vote on the matter. I dont care what side of any debate you are on but thats the very definition of deriliction of duty and cowardice from elected officials. Furthermore it causes a complete breakdown of the political process.

democrats are just frenchmen without the accent...

There have to be limits placed on state worker's unions. While many describe it as a budget battle, this is about loosening the stranglehold these unions have over taxpayers.

From a national perspective it breaks the cycle whereby unions pour campaign money into democratic warchests who in turn pour more money into the union.

There is absolutely no reason why a public employee should be able to unionize. None at all.

Democrats literally running away is pathetic, but honestly its no different than Republicans threatening to filibuster everything.

Recall

..it's the only way to be sure.

I agree, in philosophy, but a filibuster is "the right of an individual to extend debate", the above is definitely a dereliction of duty, and IMO, grounds for recall.

Technically thats true, but the Republicans know full well that they are abusing the ability.

At the end of the day both sides are acting like spoiled little five year olds that are told they cant have the newest toy.

standing and fighting is completely different from running away...you may not agree with them, but at least you know who the fuck they are because they stood up and said "not today, fucker"...and, because they stood up and you saw them and now, you know who they are and what they stand for, if you don't like them, don't vote for them.

running and hiding is a pussy-ass, cowardly, french thing to do.

I have a feeling, and Im just spiffballing here, that digi hates teh french or something of that nature.
