I'm sorry. I did not have the time to sit here and think of a plethora of examples of things I consider "bad" and then choose one that is somewhere on the same level as "badness" as I consider homosexuality.

Let me try again.

Let's say you bought your son a car and he crashed it the first day? Would you be disappointed?

What if he studied hard for a test and got every single fucking question wrong. Would you be disappointed? IS GETTING AN "F" ON A TEST COMPARABLE TO BEING GAY?

Christ! The skin here is so thin you could slice it open with a breadknife!

You didn't term a son's disclosure a mere disappointment. You said it was a disgrace whose disclosure is worse than stabbing a father in the back. Now you compare it to a killing spree.

I would consider it a disgrace; however, your criticism of me is in the sense that I would not love my son or would not support him if he were gay, which could not be further from the truth. Now you continue to criticize me despite the fact that I corrected your error in judgment. Is stating an opinion illegal now? Why don't I flame you for saying that you don't like my opinion? Hell, if I'm not entitled to an opinion, you're sure not entitled to an opinion on my opinion.

Secondly, I'm not "comparing" it to a killing spree. I can't say I'm surprised you, and others, interpreted it as such. I won't even bother to explain why I chose that example because a) I already did, and b) You wouldn't care.

Argue with someone who is as dumb as you are.

I've been trying to for the longest here on Elite. Unfortunately, the only people with the same level of "dumb" as I have (i.e. "0") also express the same views. Kind of hard to argue when everyone agrees.

I'd still be proud of my son. I'd be proud of his education, his job, his health... I'd just be disappointed as fuck about the fact that he'll never give me grandchildren.
