IM LUCKY AS SHIT! listen to this.

On one of my many flights from So Cal to Vegas last year I had to bring my test and EQ. I put it in my toiletry bag that I carry on like always in a bigger bag. My boy was freaking out saying "they're going to find it and then you're fucked". "No they won't even know what it is." was my reply. Sure as shit I get stopped and the go through the bag. As they're searching me I see the women pull out the bottles, look at them, and then put them back in the bag! That's luck! ;)

But don't they check the contents of your parcel at the Post Ofice? Do they not look for scripts if your mailing medicine?

i'm not sure about the US, but in Europe anything that weights under 2kg is officially considered a "letter", not a "parcel", and "letters" are never opened. i know this first hand because I have been sending and receiving hundreds of them over the last few years (not always steroids) and I have also discussed it with some post officers. they only open things that weigh more than 2kg (that's why when I order some heavy protein powders from Germany they take a month to arrive. they have to go through the customs and be opened. but "letters" only take two days).

Was never aware of that before. I am now, so thanks. Good post. Do you think that applies internationally as well. For instance, mailing fromTurkey to Greece?

i haven't sent/received anything to/from Turkey in particular, but I have done both with the US and I think the 2kg rule applies internationally as well. For instance, once I had ordered a 2lb (= 908g) protein powder from the US and I got it in one week, like a normal "letter". But another time I ordered a 5lb (2270g) protein powder and I got it in about six weeks, the parcel had been opened, and to get it I first had to obtain an official permission from the greek FDA (which I wouldn't have obtained if the lady at the office hadn't been so lenient). I think if you send something to the USA there is a chance that it will get opened even if it's under 2kg (because things are more strict there) but if you only receive things from the US, or if you only do businness within the EU, and follow the 2kg rule in all cases, you'll be safe.
