Proposed New years eve at about 5 pm. We walked in our hotel room and there were rose petals all over everything. At first she thought that the hotel just does that for new years. Then we stepped over to the tabe where two glasses of champagne were already poured. I asked her if she would like a drink and she picked up her glass about to take a drink when I told her to look in her glass first. There she saw her ring and when she looked up at me I was already down on one knee. I asked her to be my wife and she said yes.
She was totally blown away and surprised. She even checked the box at home(she knew where the ring was) before we left, but I only took the ring and left the box there knowing she would look. I even got a chance to ask her grandpa for her hand earlier in the day. He said I was the best thing to ever happen to her and her daughter.
