Im buying a Handgun, want to know the best .357 for my buck!

I like the Glock, short barrel .45. I like to have 8-12 rounds + a spare clip. Glocks are very reliable, with a barrel life of aroun 300,000 rounds!! My carry piece is a S&W .45 with a 4" barrel. If I go with an ankle piece it's the S&W Ultralight .22 loaded with Stingers. Both were bought before S&W whored out to RyanH's people.
The .40 is good, but the rounds are more expensive than a .45.
.357 is the way to go in a revolver!!! Taurus has realy stepped up, going after S&W's throat!!

I second the praises for the Taurus Titanium Series. I have the .45 snubby model with the ported barrel and it has done everything to perfection. I've put many 200 grain hollows through it and even fired a few glazers as well, and it's accurate as well as reliable. There are a few worried about flash blindness with ported barrels but I have fired in the darkness and never had this happen (I don't close my eyes with shots). I have not shot the .357 model Taurus Titanium, but if it's as good as the .45 its a dream. I chose the .45 because of sound differences.

Desert Eagle is among the best I tried (only tried the .357 Magnum but a .50 is available).... probably the most powerful gun availeble. dad owns a Belgian Browning HP .45 12 rounds goos shit. But honestly my vote still go to the Colt 1991, dunno why its precize, nice feeling when handling not that heavy (compared to the desert eagle or browning).......

Glock makes a .357. Mag capacity is 10 rounds(?). Why get a revolver with 5 or 6 rounds??

Because if you need it in a hurry (as in one second or less to prepare), pull the trigger and it fires the round. No worries about a safety, chambering a round or misfire to the extent of some autos. I know glock has done well to eliminate this with the pretrigger safety, but I still prefer the simplicity of a revolver. A gun expert would probably not have this concern. If I were in a line of work where I needed hi capacity mags then I would probably look at an auto such as a glock. So that was really my only main reasons.

The glocks safety isnt much of a safety, its on the trigger. As for chambering a round????? Always keep one in the chamber.
