I'm bummed

My shoulders are the weakest part of my body. I work them very hard but my right shoulder is always sore and keeps me from improving too much. I still get some good gains, but at my size and level, I think I should be benching 3 plates a side and my military should be at least 185. But they're not. My shoulder is continually sore and I've figured out why.
I've been playing racquetball for years now and love it. BUT, this is my problem for lifting. During racquetball, everything feels fine, but the day after and for several days after - sore right shoulder. Sore enough that I can hardly bench or military. It's looking like I'll have to give it up. Bummer.

I hear ya bro. I used to play soccer religiously, but found that I could barely train legs for at least a couple days after playing.

cut out the military presses for a while. they aren't helping your bench gains and they are probably the culprit to your sore shoulder.
let your shoulder heal- you won't get stronger until you do.
