I any case I think he's highlighted some good points. He missed one I think: the strong companionship that comes with a girlfriend. His list plus this are the reasons that I want a girlfriend, which I think outweight the pros to not having a girlfriend.

So yeah, unfortunately I dont know if this post worked on disuading me. I'm going to say I'm with the guys who get depressed when they are not in a relationship (all my life, lol)

I could be wrong but I think that the people that make it a goal to get married before a certain age are very religious or come from an extremely religious family. It seems that most of them are women. There are a lot of cases where the extremely religious parents look down on, or are embarassed by the fact that their daughter is a single parent; like it's her fault. Most of these RULE INFORCING, IDEA IMPLIMENTING parents wanted to get divorced a long time ago but didn't because of their religion. My friend's parents were very religious, got divorced but decided to still live together for the kids. If I got married, then divorced; there is no way I'm living in the same house as my ex while she bangs someone else in the other room. BTW, going through pain for results is worth it; pain or a relationship is not.

I believe relationships suck ass!
Granted I use to always have a girlfriend and was engaged for a while, but now I am so glad I don't have a GF.

I haven't had a GF in over a year now and I am loving it! I see my friends that are in a relationship and all they do is fight and argue all the time. Plus married people (that I know) all hate being married for the most part.

So what's the big deal about everyone in a hurry to settle down?

I live by myself, spend $ on whatever I want.
Enjoy peace and quiet
Never have to argue with anyone
Never have to sacrifice something for the spouse/GF
Shopping is entirely for me!
I can do whatever and whenever I want.

Heck if I want to go out, I have plently of friends, both male and female, to do that with.

And sex is no big problem, I just spank it! -At least I can finish in 30 seconds and don't have to get bitched at for it.

Yes I'm now in a relationship. It was something that happened kinda unexpectedly, but now that it has I'm glad.

I enjoyed my single time and for those of you who gets annoyed by relationships, it's all just a matter of finding the right guy/girl that you are compatible with. I was lucky enough to find the perfect girl (for me).

It only took me 28 years to do so
