I'd probably sell everything I own, put the money into an account, move to Mexico and live off the interest.
or just rent my house out and have the montly money sent to me. A close friend would maintain the house for a small percentage.

the fact your dollars will last a long time.

If you want to live were the middle-High Class people live in Mexico DF the real estate is about as expensive as NYC.

Look at Spain. It is fairly cheap in prety much all respects.
Yet, a small 3-bdr house in the outskirts of Madrid will cost you a cool $1 million.

I've been to Reykhavik.

There are no trees. The country is completely barren with so many bloody mountains its incredible. A 2km trek took us 4hrs.
And its also quite cold and windy. The only good part were the Hot thermal springs. Those were great. But thats about it.

And those guys are nowhere near what you guys call mafia in the US. Which are a joke nowadays.

These guys are ex-KGB and ex-military guys that are all business.
I would not want to live there.
