Obama isn't Clinton...

Clinton was a governor and knew how be an administrator. He is MORE popular than Obama. Barry is an ideologue with a thin skin and a god complex....He passed his agenda, he told us he was happy to be a one term president if his agenda was passed. If Obama loses in 2012 then Obamacare can be repealed but IMO, we're fucked by the new entitlement....Honestly, what did the Repubs do to improve the fiscal situation? Other than wedge social issues and taxes Obama==Bush. Obama doesn't like the gay agenda anymore than Bush and he put the predator strikes in Pakistan on steroids...we still torture via rendition etc.. etc...

Clinton could have easily vetoed or threatened to veto it, but instead insisted on language being included in the bill that ensured application of the Community Reinvestment Act to the financial institutions that were basically created by the law. (BTW – The deadlock on this amendment was broken by Chuck Schumer and Chris Dodd looking out for Wall Street and insurance companies who stood to gain tremendously under the bill.)

My thoughts = health care bill sucks because it didnt go far enough. Corporate tax loopholes need to be closed. Marginal income tax rates for the top earners should be risen back to Clinton era levels.
