If I had it to do over again, my first cycle would've been a gram of test

Mine would've been 10-12 weeks of:
200mg test E5D
400mg EQ EW

If you start with a gram of test where do you go in 4-5 years? answer = the hospital.
 
I'm using 750mgs of tp. I was going to use a gram, but I've missed a shot each week. I'm starting my 4th week, and I'm up 20lbs. It scares me to think what would happen if I ever took 1.5-2 grams. The weight gain would be too rapid for me.

Hey bro, are you using anything like liquidex or femara? I don't like water bloat any more, I'd definitely be on 1-1.5 mgs of liquidex/ed for 2 g's of test.
 
No anti e's now. Thats what scares me, I don't look or feel bloated at all. It's test prop, so I figured I didn't need any anti e's. Isn't there supposed to be little to no bloat? I know with eth or cyp, I'd look like a balloon by now, but with this shit, I actually look harder than ever before?

I'm going to take the plunge and do the full gram. I've always preached low dose, but I seriously have never gained like this before in my life.

With 5 weeks left to go, I wonder where will I go from here? I cut my training back even further. You would like this routine.

Monday: Chest/shoulders/triceps

Incline press 1 work set
weight dips 1 work set
seated milt 1 work set
the old as dirt mike mentzer era lat raise 1 set* (depending on how I feel)
close grip press 1 work set

wendesday:
Squats 2 work sets
glutham raise 1 work set
calf raise 4 work sets
seated calf raise 2-3 work sets

friday: chins 3 sets
bent over bb row 1 work set
deadlift 1-2 work sets
barbell curl 1 work set

I've been taking in about 500 grams of protein daily.

Slobber, any comments or input? I figured this belongs in this kind of slobberknocker thread: first time with a high dose, lots of food, heavy low volume training and great gains.... the slobberknocker way lol
 
When you say the sides are the same for 1000mgs as they are for 500 mgs you're wrong, whether you know it or not.


When you suggest that all sides can be controlled with anti e's, you're wrong, whether you know it or not.

When you say that testosterone is a drug that you'd be better off taking too much of instead of too little, you're wrong, whether you know it or not.

If you think doing more gear the first time out would have provided more permanent muscle mass, you're wrong, whether you know it or not.


The problem is, newbies don't know it either.

I guess that's why things are like they are.
 
i gained the most lbs on my first cycle(25), and that was just using 250mgs sust and 300mgs deca i lost 5lbs,,,my average dose is 600mgs a wk of test although currently i am using 350mgs every wk of prop...i agree but disagree too

I think 1g/wk is a good idea, and I feel like you do, sk. For me, test has few sides, no bloating, no acne, no additional hair loss over what I slowly have had over the years . . . nice gains, good libido, and high intensity -- all good. I am small guy too, and I could do 2g with liq. I use no anti e's with 1g, and don't bother with clomid (agree with nelson on that one). BUT . . . some friends are real sensitive to test, and love other aas (which I hate). I think running 1g of test without knowing how you individually react could be really bad. I sort of did a ramp up on my first cycle back in the day: 250/wk for 2 wks, felt good, went to 500/wk 2wks, felt good, then 750/ , I didn't go past this then but you could ramp a little more to a gram, would only add 4 wks or so to your cycle, and let you make sure you enjoy it and can take it. Although, this is different than the front-loading stuff popular now, front-loading an unknown chemical for a newbie seems unwise to me, and most people would feel better easing into AAS since it takes a little while for the diet and training that make AAS really "click" to come in. I think front-loading, stacking, and short, hard hitting cycles are better for those with experience looking to make AAS one of their tools, not newbs. I agree with the 1gm/wk logic sk, I would just emphasize newbies to ease into it, not run a gram tonight based on this post.
 
I think it's ridiculous. My first cycle was EQ and anavar and I gained a solid 15lbs while losing fat. I think on 500mg of test I probably would've gained no more than 20lbs. I doubt a gram would have given me more keepable size than that.
