I think 1g/wk is a good idea, and I feel like you do, sk. For me, test has few sides, no bloating, no acne, no additional hair loss over what I slowly have had over the years . . . nice gains, good libido, and high intensity -- all good. I am small guy too, and I could do 2g with liq. I use no anti e's with 1g, and don't bother with clomid (agree with nelson on that one). BUT . . . some friends are real sensitive to test, and love other aas (which I hate). I think running 1g of test without knowing how you individually react could be really bad. I sort of did a ramp up on my first cycle back in the day: 250/wk for 2 wks, felt good, went to 500/wk 2wks, felt good, then 750/ , I didn't go past this then but you could ramp a little more to a gram, would only add 4 wks or so to your cycle, and let you make sure you enjoy it and can take it. Although, this is different than the front-loading stuff popular now, front-loading an unknown chemical for a newbie seems unwise to me, and most people would feel better easing into AAS since it takes a little while for the diet and training that make AAS really "click" to come in. I think front-loading, stacking, and short, hard hitting cycles are better for those with experience looking to make AAS one of their tools, not newbs. I agree with the 1gm/wk logic sk, I would just emphasize newbies to ease into it, not run a gram tonight based on this post.
