And a bit of a SWV.

This past weekend marked the one year anniversary of the near fatal auto crash I was involved in. Since then the last 12 months have been pretty much the worst of my life so far(not going into details so don't ask). Anyway it's made me really appreciate some things I've overlooked. That being said:

I just wanted to thank all of you who have made me laugh, smile, or think wtf! in the last year. Some of you come up with the craziest shit and more than once I have nearly ruined my computer by almost spitting out whatever I was drinking at the time.

Anyways that's enough SWV'ing it up for one day, I'm headed to a movie so I'll check you on the flip side.

Cheers,
Scotsman

Since I'm pretty sure I get the biggest thanks... You're welcome. And don't worry, your balls should drop about 72 hours after you hit enter on this thread.

I cannot imagine how traumatic this year has been for you, Scots, but am so happy you made it out the other side.

I am happy you made it OK. Sorry it has been a tough year, but it sounds like you are appreciating things in your life. Sometimes it takes something really bad to happen for people to realize what they have and appreciate life more. We are not guaranteed tomorrow. Always try to be happy and let those you care about know that you love them all the time.

Solid bro!

sorry to hear about the accident, but glad to know that you're alright..... Things can only get better this year bro so keep your head up!

You're welcome! (you WERE talking about me, right??)

Youre a good bor.

Went and saw "The Road", great movie and Duvall certainly killed it!

Yeah Duvall was the shit. Apparently he ad libbed that whole bit about his son on the spot...which IMO was the best part of that convo.

Keep your head up bro. The thing that always gets me thru another day is the thought that everyday I live and breath, I get closer to seeing Plank and PuddleMOnkey DIE.

Thanks man I appreciate it. It's a great sentiment, but there are some things that time doesn't heal. And some tunnels don't have a light at the end.

I am going to have to disagree Scots there is a ray of light with every dark night. We don't always see it right away but in time it presents itself and everything becomes crystal clear. :)

i  you dog nutz!

Boy you are good about keeping shit to yourself!

That being said *e-hug*

Oh, did you hear about the woman who was vacationing in Scotland with her friend, and they had a couple of drinks and her friend dared her to go up to a Scotsman and ask him what's worn under a kilt? You know the response, right?

For those of you who don't know the joke, the Scotsman looks at her most seriously and says "Oh nothing's worn, lassie, it's all in fine working order."

Lou Gehrig made a speech at Yankee Stadium right after he was diagnosed with ALS.
Something like I’m the luckiest man alive. I have so much to look forward to.
Hang in there Bro.

I love that joke!

Yes I am good at keeping things to myself. There are people who see me on a near daily basis that have no idea anything is wrong with me at all. I'm still the first one there if anyone needs help and the last one to leave when it's all over with. I have very rarely in my whole life asked anyone else for anything so I don't ask anyone to share my burden no matter how much of theirs I carry. Just the way I am.
