ideas for a birthday party

AAP

Ok her birthday is 6-9-69.

Unusual. We are thinking of trying to do something with a play on those numbers.

*cue in the lame 69 position jokes*

Now that we moved past that stage..... any ideas how to incorporate this #'s into a birthday party at a resturant or such?

25K to the best answer.

eat her out while she fellates you

honestly, i don't think playing off those numbers will make her birthday celebration any more special; although i understand that the challenge is appealing to you as planners. just devote your energy to showing her a good time

ask the waiter to bring her her wine.

and then teh waiter can be like
we haven't that spirit here since 1969

ew i want to vomit

Take her to the hotel California. Such a lovely place bro...

Other than springing for a 1969 vintage with dinner, and getting songs from 1969 played if you're eating at a casual spot...I've got nothing.

Yeah, 69 means nothing other than the position.

Two ideas. You can make the whole theme of the room into her birth day of june 1969. Make it look very real like the day she was born.

or if she's into history or some kind of intellect, you could get famous people who were born on that day or date and have that theme going on with facts about them blah blah.

Dude, what else could you possibly do? Just get her drunk and take pics. Isn't that what parties are all about anyway?

+1 best party place ever!

I had my 33rd birthday at Chuck E Cheese, I was the oldest person to have a birthday at that store. We did it for work, was funny shit. Sucked cause I couldn't eat any pizza... That was last year.

Do a yin/yang party!! The 6 and 9 could be worked up to make a cool yin/yang symbol on the cake and in the elements of the decor. Everyone must wear black and/or white. Have a bar made out of ice (those ice sculpture places can do this) and serve red hots and flaming drinks. Find more ways to incorporate opposites into the theme to go along with the whole yen/yang theme.

+1 Great idea

If you gonna get ice sculptures... depending on how big of partiers you guys are its fun to carve a "track" in a large block of ice, put the block at an angle. Position the mouth at the bottom end and pour the drink/shot into the top end of the track and drink from the ice... Sorry... to many college parties.

Now that is good!!!!!!!!!

Less thinking* and more giving* 25k away!

Actually HR idea was good. You can have everyone wear '6' or '9' T-shirts and be all over the party. Of course they would have to pair up as '69' or it wouldn't end well.

or.... get her drunk, naked and take pics damnit!

25k!

I have an awesome idea for the cake. Have two cakes that sort of fit together but are sitting with some space between them. Each half looks like the half of the symbol. One is white and fluffy with coconut and can have something yummy like rasberry or apricot filling. The other is the darkest mocha chocolate the baker can make with really dark ganache and dark chocolate shavings. Yummy and can really be made to look like a yin/yang symbol. Have 69 scrolled all over the base etc.

Depending on how much money is going into this party, you could have cool performance artists do an asian type show, etc incorporating the yin/yang. Or if you don't want to spend tons of money, you can get one of those long dragons/lions that they do for Chinese new years from lots of chinese martial arts schools (they often are the ones who perform the lion dances) Otherwise, they can be rented from a costume shop and people go ape shit over the lion dance. If you want to just have friends do it, I can tell you how the lion dance is performed. =-)

For the hors d'oevre trays you could have one side that has very spicy items and then a cool side. So, I'm thinking maybe thai food with those cool cucumber yogurt sauces. yum.
