Okay heres the skinny based on what you said

They can enter with a valid search warrant - but I don't know of anywhere that cops can search without leaving a copy of the search warrant.

As far as Miranda warnings go - they don't have to read you Miranda unless your under arrest and the worst that would happen is that any / all incriminating statememnts will be inadmissable.

They may have to return your supplements / belongings but I am not sure you would actually want them back.

While it sucks the informants will probably go unscathed because they will say they were "acting in good faith"

Your lawsuit will probably only hold if they searched without a valid warrant

If it is a small department, they may pay you cash to avoid a lengthy trial (cheaper in the long run for them)

On july 2nd I had just gotten home from work, when a swat team of eight cops came busting through my door, pushed me to the floor and handcuffed me behind my back. A piece of paper was shoved into my face which I was not allowed to read.

I was not given my rights under miranada, yet each cop took his turn at drilling me with questions , while I sat handcuffed unable to even use the rest room for two hours. I was being questioned by the lt. in charge, when I invoked my 6th admendent right, I asked to call an attorney before I intended to answer any questions. I was told that I would not be allowed access to a lawyer because no warrents were issued for my arrest and that in fact I was not under arrest.

The cops took my computers from both my home and work, yes the cops closed down the gym I work at and kicked everyone out for four hours. They took gas x, benadryl, an RX of antibotics for my cat, prohormones ans a host of other otc supplements. They took books Anabolics 2000, WAR, Body opus and three Muscular Development Mags, wtf.

The entire thing sprung from a couple disgruntled employees that I fired because they were caught red handed stealin from the gym. They are boy and girl living together, the guy sells anabolics, pot and a large amount of fake steroids. I know a few guys that bought eph from him and were told that it was winny.

I was not arrested at the time nor have the police contacted me since, I have retainsd the best lawyer in the area. I will keep you posted my Iron brothers.

Believe it or not we still have a constitution in effect here, without which there would be total anarchy. We have more liberties here in the US than in any other country in the world. 9/11 set us back some but it's still government by the people, for the people and of the people, which is more than can be said for most other nations.

What happened here sounds like a violation of your constitutional rights - mainly the 4th amendment because the police lacked probable cause to obtain a warrant. You invoked your right to counsel but you were not under arrest as so stated. If they had a federal warrant to search the gym then they operated within the guidelines of the law. If they lacked probable cause to obtain the warrant than that's an entirely different set of circumstances to which you would have grounds for a lawsuit.

As part of the legal system is disclosure and the cops/DA have to disclose RPG's for the search. Without it they don't have a case!

Now, as far the boy/girl, if they are selling stuff out of their home, stealing and other things, they are in no position to rat anyone out.

As long as the cops don't find anything on you, this is a dead case. Then talk to your lawyer about legal action against the cops, for incrimination, violation of charter rights (Canadian term), damaged identity and other things.

The lawyer I have retained is one tough sonufabitch, also very well versed in crimminal, civil and constitutioal law.

Juice Authority, according to federal and the laws of my state, "when a reasonable person has reason to believe that he can not leave a place when he chooses, that person is in custody.

I had my hands cuffed behind my back, and was made to sit in a chair, without being allowed to even take a piss.
