I want to start planning a trip to Africa, has anyone ever been?

It was bound to happen sooner or later, plus I need to prove all my ex's wrong that say i have a fear of commitment. Being a man whore has lost some of it's prestige with the coming of age. it seems committed relationships are the 'in' when you're in your late 20's. Who the fuck knows, we'll see how long this lasts.

Not bitter, I just understand women.....they all have a plan for their life. They expect to be married around 25-26..house in the suburbs...first baby before 30....blah blah blah. It's funny to watch them scramble when life doesn't give them everything they think they deserve.

My last serious girlfriend was 24 when we started dating but she was also a non-conventional thinker. I wouldn't be surprised if she spent her entire career in a third world country as opposed to making major bank in the US.

1)He doesn't seem to like women very much.
2)He absolutely doesn't know what aspirations some women really have.


Thank god my mom raised her three girls to be self-sustaining and independent.

These types of trips really seem to be growing in popularity as reported by a recent article I read in the Wall street Journal. There are a growing number of people seeking trips/vacations helping these 3rd world countries from teaching children English to putting in a water line. From the exterior it sounds like a shitty 'vacation', but in the end so very rewarding.

I hear tribes women love yogurt faces too.

My sister is on a 2-year stint to teach business and English. She is going through an American University and their sister college in China. She not only receives the financial support, housing, and amenities but she will be awarded another Master's Degree upon completion of her contract.

I looked at your link to HeartForAfrica. Sounds like a good humanitarian enterprise. Can you possibly get references? Does your gf know anyone who's actually been on one of these efforts? Given the website's kind of vague itinerary, I think it would be best you knew exactly what kind of accomodations you will have, and where your raised donations will go...I'm assuming to defray the costs of air, etc.

All in all, kudos to you. Most people would not make the effort.
