Ok something is definetly going on, my boss walks in , gives me his normal "how ya doing" and handshake. Then five minutes later his secretary comes up to me and tells me one of the big bosses, needs me to do something for her and to go to her office at 1pm...something is fishy, because my boss just came from a meeting with all the big bosses and he is the type of pussy that would try and hide it by saying the boss lady neeeds some work done instead of telling me she wants to meet with me. He knows I would drop kick him if he pissed me off. dont be suprised to see a "I got layed off" thread at around 1 30.

Don't feel bad. My wife just got laid off for the second time in 6 months. She had been working at her new job for 2 months now. They kept telling her how great of a job she was doing and how she was doing better than people that have worked there for 5 years. Then, just yesterday they tell her whole group that they just brought them in to help with the end of the year numbers and now that their quota has been met, they have no need for them anymore. Fuckers.

haha..i would never give them the satisfaction of throwing a fit...I would laugh , cut her off in mid-sentence and say "how long are you going to pay me " , they usually will continue to pay people they lay off here for a month or 2. and then walk out and maybe give my manager a pissed off face and tell him "i'll be waiting for you" .




I could just be paranoid too, because this lady really likes me and thinks highly of me. She may actually have something she needs me to take care of personally or she wants to warn me that the manager is bitching about me.
