I think I may get this (AAP get in here!)

yeah i'm now aiming for the saturn sky.

aap: i assume u bought the turbo.

i still may wanna lease. i can write it off and only drive it maybe 5k/year.

man... u seriously buyin american car? Go with the swedes, their cars aren't selling well and the leases are insane as a result... still MUCH higher build qual than american...

Three brands of Swedish cars are available in the USA -- Volvo, Saab, and Koenigsegg.

The Volvo S40 Turbo is a neat little car, if you don't mind a 4-door sedan. Saab 9-2X is exactly the same car as a Subaru WRX wagon.
 
the new volvo c70 is pretty fun to drive. I was inches away from getting it, but just too small for my needs.

also, volvos are good for pickin up the gays.


Has probably the most audiophilic factory stereo system I've ever heard too (dynaudio engineered!)
 
One advantage of Swedish cars is that, since both companies are owned by major American corporations, easy financing is available. Saabs have GMAC, Volvo has Ford Motor Credit.



Between the Solstice and the Sky, I'd get the Pontiac. It's the less "girly" of the two. You're not going to get much of a deal on either one right now though, especially if you want the turbo. Of course Saturn dealers don't haggle at all, everyone pays list.
