I probably would always go by mail now.
My first cycle I brought in from overseas (not Mexico). I guess ignorance is bliss. I wasn't on any board and didn't know about the shit going on.
Now I would rather get in by mail. Worst that happens is your shit is ceased. If you disown it, you don't get charged or fined.

I totally understand why you think I am being impatient..and maybe this is the case. First off, I was not "blasting" this guy...or calling him a "SCAMMER". My post was just merely saying "I THINK I got burned"... and I wanted some feedback on how long I should wait.

But let me explain myself. Yes. the money arrived on Monday of last week. Before then, we had been exchanging emails back and forth and I would always get a reply within 1-2 days. Funny htough how since the money had arrived, I haven't gotten a reply from either of my 2 emails sent since then. (and the email status says "READ"...so I KNOW he read them).

The reason I made this post was b/c I didnt know how long to wait till I called him a "scammer"!!...and that I have not yet done. I haven't divulged his information or anything. I am waiting till Wednesday of this week until I do so.

So yes, I see why you may think I am being impatient, but you gotta understand where I am comming from as the buyer...? Is it really that difficult to click "reply" and type "gimme a couple of days"?...I think not.

EDIT: wanted to note that I had sent an email to him the day I sent the funds and asked if he would inform me when the funds arrived. He replyed saying he would do so... haven't heard from him since then. How would you feel?

id feel the same way as you. plus if this source was a good guy he would have taken a sec to let you know your money is safe. thats how you keep people coming back. i dont care if he's busy or if its not "wallmart" he souldn't leave you hangin by a string. i wouldnt deal with a guy like that, thats why my mine hits me back within a couple hours at the most. usually less.

Its not like you outted him, but the point we all should remember before we get worked up, which is a fair description of your state, is if he has scammed you, you will have forever to deal with it. No need to rush. Posts like this inevitably lead to pms about who it is, and word may leak one way or another. Then 5 days later you'll get an email saying his brother was killed in a boating accident, he's been dealing with that, but your stuff is on the way. Now you got a tracking number and a bit of crow to eat, but whats worse is there are a bunch of bros who think this guy is a scammer. It can happen even if you don't intend it. Better to post nothing, send a pm to a mod about what to do and how long to wait, and if its turns out you have been scammed, you got all day to make his life hell. We all feel you, I'd be worried the second day if I hadn't got a reply and he read it. Point is anything could be going on, don't burn bridges til its time.

Some people expect their sources to stop the world and send them an email saying this and that and all sorts of little tidbits about their order all the time.
When IN REALITY the source could be dealing with some major personal tragedy in his life and not have time to just send a courtesy email out because MAYBE he has 50 customers with orders similar to yours so it would take him all day to send that courtesy email out to everyone

And now this sources name will probably circulate around in the next few days and he probably will have other worried customers over it now ALL BECAUSE YOU were too impatient to take it up with a Mod first and leave it OFF the main boards (where it DOESNT belong at this point )

But what do I care who is it really?...I use the same 2 sources and have for years now so I KNOW that it isnt one mine

I understand your concern...Dont misinterpret that..

WHAT bothers me is that you are thinking 'scammer' after just 3 DAYS...
You need to give it some time first...
What if this source only had time to send out your gear already but was too busy to send you the tracking #? You will look like an ass when it shows up at your door and you are one hour away from posting his personal info all over the boards and tehn your packagae shows up...

If you were on my board then waiting 3-7 days for your gear (or even a return email) there is NO WAY I would let you post up "scammer" in that short of time...It's just WAY too soon

The better protocol here would have been to emails a few Mods and have them look into it and send the source emails (THAT is the best way to get things fixed)
