I need some new music.

Please give me some suggestions. All I've been listening to lately is Wu, Tool, Metallica, and other hard shit. Hard stuff is ok, but I'm so wound up lately and this isn't helping. My CD collection isn't what it was because I lent and never got back a ton and my car got broken in to a few years ago and I never replaced what got taken. Help. Okthanksdie.

I'm not looking for emo, country, or shit rap (most all of the new shit I hear). As far as rap/ hip-hop go, I'm having a hard time moving past Nas, Wu, Biggie, Tribe, all those guys. I fuggin HATE all the ATL shit.

I just want something good. I don't think I'll know what until I hear it, so I'm open to whatever.

Good call on all of that. I've been to see Roger Sanchez a number of times. Best DJ I think I've seen. He had the whole club going absolutely nuts every time.

Yeah is SLC. Where were you in Park City? Harry-O's? Suede? I don't go up there often because the drive down the canyon is so sketchy and police filled.

Harry-O's. the place was on fire. I have seen quite a few good shows up there.
They opened Suede right when I sold my house... I've never been there. Is it doing well? I used to hang occasionally with the couple that opened it, would be good to hear they're doing well. I lost touch.

It's ok. Seems whenever there's anything bad that happens at a club, it's at Suede. Samoan gang stabbings and what not. I haven't gone to PC for a couple of years, aside from golfing.

Thanks bor. I grew up on PE, Big Daddy Kane, Wu, BDP, all that. I've been listening to LL a lot lately as well. Fuggin hit repeat on Doin' It and it keeps my fat ass on the treadmill if a hottie's in front of me.

That's why I said ish, but I heard more of it and it's not so bad. I need to chill anyway. Slower Tool and Metallica aren't really helping me take a load off.

hard to find alot of their older stuff.......intoxicated demons, self titled album, etc. they came out with a new album not too long ago...maybe end of last year or something. didn't have a chance to pick it up.

oh yeah...cormega and lake cd is pretty dope. i'm sure you know who lake is if you listen to nas

Calveless glad to here you are a big Cormega fan, I listen to a lot of hip hop, pretty much all east coast and Mega is my favorite rapper with Nas, AZ, Mobb Deep,Lost Boyz, Tribe, Gangstarr being favorites too
