There are sooo many types of diets i dont know what to do. Carbs, no carbs, cals.. I just lifted my lower body and ran 2.5 miles, then came in and made a steak with green beans and a pickle. Of course only drinking water. The diet is the hardest part for me honetly. I know im supposed to eat chicken, tuna, fish, salad, eggs, steak and oatmeal. I wasnt sure about anything else.
regarding carbs, try concentrating on the RIGHT carbs not so much no carbs. You might want to do some reading on the glycemic index and that will help you learn what carbs are good vs. bad. Also, when lifting legs, you might want to go easy on the cardio. I think most of the guys on here do not do any cardio the day they workout their legs, and some even the day after. If you are doing lighter weights to toen and lose BF, then you should be ok to do cardio the day after you did your leg workout. Everyone is different but I found when I did cardio and didn't let my legs rest I got some soreness, shin splints, etc.
