I was driving home on the Autobahn today. The police , second car ahead of me, popped up a stop sign to warn of a coming traffic jam. Alas ,the driver before me thinks they want him to completely stop.
The car before me hits the brakes, i stomp on them ,too, but nevertheless i hit the right side of his car .
I was driving 160 km/h before i hit the brakes, dunno how much i had on the impact.

Guess it was my fault, i did not keep enough distance to the car before me.
I´m glad only the cars had some damage and noone was injured in any way.

Mine will not be covered. If i´m lucky only the frame was damaged and the rest is intact. It will show in the future, but i guess that was it with driving for some time.
I got my bike and i wanted to lose some fat anyway.

I think you mean the body. If the frame was damaged, you'd be looking at some major troubles. What were you driving?

I was driving an Opel Corsa, it´s a very small car.

When I was in Germany and driving on the autobahns at 160 I noticed the other drivers where very thoughtful and steady drivers. If you came up behind someone, they got out of the way.

One day I want to drive a 911 on the autobahns.

160km/h is 100 mph. That's plenty fast to slam on the brakes. That reminds me, I must go to Germany, rent a fine example of German automotive engineering and let rip on the autobahns.

Glad you're OK! My cousin has a Corsa also-very small car indeed. He can only get to 160 when he's going down a hill; usually 140 otherwise.


Where in Germany do you live? Most of my relatives live in Nuremberg...
