lol....seriously. I felt like a major jackass. My friend told me I left them at the pool, though, and I didn't remember otherwise! Then I get in my car tonight and opened the little change bucket thingy and there they are!! Overjoyed and feeling like even more of a jackass.

There are some jokes that I'm fine with (like the "what?" earlier in the thread...I always fall for it and I always laugh at myself afterward). One of my best friends teases me all the time (she'll say in a loud old lady voice, "turn you're hearing aid on!"). What she doesn't do, though, is talk in soft tones to tease me in the way jack was describing. Jokes I can laugh along with. But that's just not nice because it plays on my frustration. Sort of like making faces at a blind person and laughing, and the blind person doesn't even know why you're laughing.

Jh1, Jack is just playing...give him a break.

PS - wow, this thread ended up being a lot longer than I expected.

You better let them remain "lost" and have the replacements done by the insurance company so if you do lose them in the future, you have back ups.
