Yep. Teen girls have enough drama without having to deal with the guys too. Hopefully she won't be interested in them 'til she's a little older. Mine didn't get interested 'til she was 17.
About the comp. be very careful there my friend. If you get her one, lay the law down early 7 often about usage times & your oversight. Watch where she goes, using a spy program.
My daughter met a very nice young man on line. He started calling us at 03:00. Turns out he was 10 yrs older than her, said he would make the perfect husband, & if she wanted, he would come to get her from Abu Dhabi, or Bahrain. I stopped that quick. I told her it would be her fault when I go to jail, because when he came to get her I would have to kill him. You know what those guys are like with women.

She tells me that her guy friends say that I'm scary. One of them pulled up next to my car when I was waiting outside while she was in her gymnastics class. He told her that when he realized it was me, he said, "Oh Shit." Backed out real quick and parked somewhere else. Fine. That's the way I want it. Thanks for the offer my good bro. :)

Yeah. SHe's in the 8th grade and she has some guy friends in the 10th grade. We talk very candidly. I tell her just what boys are after and she assures me that they won't get very far with her. She doesn't want a boyfriend she says until she's around 17. Too much drama she says. I woke up to find my cereal in the trash. It wasn't quite empty, but I left it out on the kitchen counter.
