yes, a woman who hates shopping. that's right.

I just got back from the mall. Everyone walks slow. teens, old people, etc.

I was shopping for a suit. At one point, I had brown pants that I didn't really like, and 3 black jackets that looked good. ok, so that didn't work. I looked around and found a great pair of black slacks, then chose one of the 3 sports jackets that matched. Then i had to find a top to go under it and that's impossible because everything was either too sexy on me (spandex and big hooters don't scream "professional"), or too long or too puffy or just wrong or ugly or old looking.

I ended up getting a few things. a suit, a sexy black and white top (not to go with the suit) and then i found matching shoes, some cute shoes i can keep in my car, new blankets for the kids beds, and some underwears. By the time I found the entrance that I came in, my feet hurt, my neck hurt, I was sweating, my hands were numb, and I needed a nap.

oh, and jcpennys- fuck you and you're ugly fucking clothes. have you ever heard of style? pants with lining? dry cleaning?

Did someone buy that Purple Pant Suit out from under you...im sorry, Id be pissed to......

it was awful.

I did see plenty of business casual or even just casual clothes that I wanted- I can wear anything to work but I try to always look professional, even if i wear jeans (we can wear sweats to work if we want, and many managers do, but I would rather wear real pants). but I knew I wasn't there for any of that- just for a suit. Oh, and all those shirts that are out for women with the high waist that tie in the back... have they not considered the big breasted/flat stomached women on the planet that look horrible in that?????

at least I found a button down blouse that looks cute and fits well. It's black with white dots, and I found shoes in black with white dots that aren't that high, since i'm a bit of a spaz. :)

I hate it too!! It would be so much better if we could walk around the store in our bra and panties trying on what we want.

i have the same problem. i use to have to get 38-40" and have the waist taken in. but now i find the loose fit designer jeans like tommy, polo, etc. have plenty of room.

let me get my extra large shovel to get rid of the bullshit on this thread. the believability is about the same as santa claus and the easter bunny.

I would have rather been in your shoes shopping instead of painting. I have been painting for a few hours now. I am only about half way done too. I needed a break. You want to come paint with me? ;)

shopping does suck.

I love online shopping but it is difficult to buy clothes there. Malls have people, and people suck.

we will let you walk around in your bra and panties!

Shopping is teh suck. Pretty much any interaction with the general public leaves me in a foul mood. That's what the internet is for!

Painting is fun for me when I am about half done. Now I am wishing I didn't have so much left to do. It gets old real quick. lol

target does have some nice purses.

i'm in pain from shopping. mental pain.

The slow-walking people, four wide, that can't walk straight and wander side to side, drive me insane and make me want to go on a shooting spree.

I hate 90% of malls...and shopping can be frustrating. I like one mall in this area because it caters to higher end boutiques and designers, and because most things there are way out of price range for mall rats and kids, it's generally a less crowded, more peaceful atmosphere.

But the one closest to me makes me want to kill people.

+1 Their clothes DO seriously suck. Ever seen the SLN spoof commercial with the "mom pants"? So funny. I won't even walk through there to get to a store, lol.

My MIL does all her shopping for the grandbabies at Sears and Penney's

I used to only love Dooney and Coach. Then last year I bought some $40 purses there and flipped them on ebay for $150+each. The market flooded and I got stuck with one and I love that thing! So, for durability their purses suck but for cutness and trendiness they are awesome. The trick is to have a bunch and use them in rotation so they stay new.

I love the mall.....young, slutty-dressed girls EVERYWHERE!

I don't know why you women are complaining about the mall.....Lane Bryant is usually located at the non-busy end of the facility.
