hmmm. although i took boxing b4, i've always had problems with fighting. it's like i'm too scared to get hurt; although i love to cause pain.... basically, your regular chicken shit. i have a real knack for offense too. although i've only taken boxing in the past, i can do 360 degree jump kicks with force easy. but i always try to wimp my way out of fights.....

any suggestions on the chicken shit issue?

Yeah, there was a heavy handed bouncer here in town who caught hepatitus from splitting his knuckles on some guys head.

Yeah, I knew that people would be asking about the naked choke as an alternative. At the time I just wanted to stop the action, and it all lasted only about 10 seconds all together. But the guy was bleeding from the head, probably not a good idea to wrap your bare arms around the very area of his body that was bleeding. Besides, the cops showed up about 15 secs after I helped him off the ground. We didn't even have time to get our stories straight. Fortunately, the told the cops that he fell down, and they dropped the matter. I, on the other hand, was taken in on probation violation for alcohol consumption. I have my sentencing tomorrow As for the naked choke, it was probably for the best that it didn't happen. I didn't need the cops pulling up to the scene with a guy unconscoius on the ground. Something about submission holds, I got into a fight about 4 years ago with a guy that started by bringing his arm back about 3 miles, then throwing his punch. I was all about the groundfighting back then, and went in under his punch and took the guy to the ground. Within moments I had the guy in a guillotine choke while I was on my knees with him on his hands and knees in front of me. I cranked backwards and he quit on the spot. I figure the fight was over because, after all, he gave up. As soon as I let go of him he jumped on me and started the ground and pound. I got out of it, but not without taking some good shots that I felt the next few days. Submissions sometimes aren't what they appear to be in the UFC. I learned that the hard way. Oops, time to go back to work.

These days, I am commonly seeing bouncers who work the floor wearing rubber gloves like a paramedic. You are right, they should all be wearing them, like many other jobs, some amount of protective gear should be used.

Lol. Its not a trailor park, but a small town in the midwest. We haven't moved up to knives and guns, yet. Pretty conservative, actually. Several years back, some guy moved back to town after living for years in Minneapolis. It was found out that the guy caught aids while he was away, and he was basically driven out of town! He wrote a pretty nasty letter to the editor of the local newspaper about it. Yup, Hicksville, USA, I guess you can call this place.
