I hope you did`nt take my post the wrong way. I was just saying that if you try to lift a max attempt too often like the most weight you can do for one rep, You will quickly over stress the muscles you are working.

Some people don`t max out for months and some never attempt a max lift. Those are just examples, but the idea is to not do prolonged 100% maximal lifts in a row. That will actually slow down your progress.

congratulations!! you did really good. i am really proud. your really pushing yourself. gettin good w/those clean and presses too. just wish i could catch up w/ya on the form.lol

All thanks to B FOLD and Neffi on the clean and press...that double dip is geting easier and easier.:D
 
Very nice queena..I'm headed for that goal myself.. You've given me some inpiration to make my goal too!! Way to go girl!!!!!

You go girl! Bench happens to be my weakest lift (ugh!) but Nate has been helping me tweak it here and there to help me bring it up. All I gotta say is leg drive is huge! I tend to forget to utilize it, but when I do...it makes for a much stronger lift. My next goal is to bench my bodyweight. You see, that's a two-fold goal...lose bodyfat AND get stronger! ;)
 
Queena I'll let you know tomorrow...Its our max out day for westside.. I will have all my max's on Bench, squat, deads, and overhead press. It should be an exciting day!!!!!
