I couldn't squat today....

It was weird. With all the heavy benching and incline presses I lost the range of motion to where I was having difficulty get my arms around the bar. Anyone else have this problem with the squat rack?
 
I do, and ive resorted to front squats. I have started to do more stretching in hope of gaining my ROM back.
 
Work on your flexibility. Front squat in the meantime. Shouldn't take too long to get your arms more flexible if you actually try.
 
It happens to me from time to time, do you think it has anything to do with the jino? could try front squats or do some xtra work on the hacks (regular and reverse)...
 
i havent been able to get my arms under the bar for years. Instead i slide the plates out a little bit and just wrap my arms around the bar, so that my hands are at the edge of the barbell, between the plate stop and the plates. Understand?

I would think that that is quite unsafe.

I would work on flexibility.

My arms are pretty much wrapped around the bar, so the bar really cant slip off my back in any way. Plus, the plates are rubber coated at school, so they wont slide off. My flexibility has been shot for about 5 years now.
 
my first couple warm up sets are like that, i can barely get my arms back far enough, with lots of stretching as I warm up they get there though
