i ALWAYS see people i know from somewhere. out, on the street, on the train...whatever. it's become absurd at this point and makes me think i've lived here to long, but it makes for fun interactions especially if it was a random meeting

when i moved here, i was consumed with loneliness but in a strange way. i still talked to all my friends and everything, but i was in a new place so when i went to the store, i knew I wouldn't know anyone. I felt like people looked at me like, "move out of the way, stranger". When i overheard conversations, i didn't know the places they named. none of the ads on the radio were for stores I knew. it was a very separate feeling.
