I have been on the curm diet for a week and look like I got ran over by a truck. Before everything was full and round now my chest is flatten and my arms are deflated. My abs are comming through but fuck is there any middle ground here. Started out at 206 16% at 203 now. Just woundering if a carb up is needed or if its normal in the first stages of a diet like this. Thanx for the help
 
i thought the same thing to at first but i noticed my fat intake was a little lower than required take a look at your fat intake and make sure its up to par.... that filled me out back to normal nicely
 
less carbs will cause you to retain less water, as well as less glycogen so this is normal in that you are on a low carb diet, less glycogen is going to hold less water in the muscles causing them to look flat and appear smaller.
 
Thanx fellas I thought that it was due to low carbs, and I am gonna have to take a look at my fat intake, as far as the self conscious thing goes I was kinda playing around in the thread but you are right that most people including myself see things differently. I just kind of use the mirror as a way of examining my progress. Another question when comming off a low carb diet am I gonna blow up like b-12 when starting on carbs agian I know that you should interduce them slowly but should you also limit the amount to a certian number to matian what you dieted for???
