Keep smoking.

I am sure your husband would prefer you stay thin and die sooner....than to be fat and live longer

No doubt who wants to have a fat wife that lives forever, "Die you fat hog DIE so I can go find a skinny smok'n bitch."

ECA stack for a few weeks will get rid of the 5 or 6 lbs you'll put on. some of the weight gain is increased hunger, but its also due to slowed metabolism. ECA stack will address both.

then ur on ur own.

will do. Hubby will get something for me anyways. I'll get over it :)

Quiting smoking isn't that hard...the trick is to keep yourself occupied and stay away from smokers, especially if you're drinking, because being around them will make it tougher to resist lighting up.

Do you have more hair growth like the commercials?

You should quit, that shit ain't good for you. My mom worked for Philip Morris.

yeah you will gain a few pounds for a couple of reasons... the villi in your small intestines get damaged from smoking so there are less receptors to pick up the nutrients. But they repair themselves every 3 days so without the smoke your body will naturally absorb more nutrients and calories. Also nicotine raises your metabolism by about 10%.. The upside to all of this is... your skin and body will feel and look a lot better because you will also be increasing your vitamin intake etc... so dont worry those few extra pounds are no big deal you will lose them as soon as your body levels itself out

my nutrient teacher told us that... I will look in my book...

I figured with a 10% increase, I woulda seen this on the ana boards over the past five years. I've heard nicotine increases metabolism, but I never knew how much. I just figured the ana guys woulda jumped all over any +10% metabolic enhancer, lol. They shoot synthol and eat bull testicals, lol, I can see them smoking for bbing too ;)

Ruhl smokes like a chimney.

OK, there FG - here are some benefits of quitting:

better skin/less wrinkles

more oxygen=more energy & endurance (for sex)

if you channel this enery right, you can exercise more, thus be much slimmer, not fatter.

sexy tasting tongue, not an ash tray

unlikely to get lung cancer or emphasaema

Overall, better quality of life.

Good luck.

If I remember right (and it's been a while) I read that it increases your metabolism by about 10% but only while the nicotine is active in your system which is about 15-30 minutes so it isn't an effective fat burner and it doesn't work the same in all people.

So would smoking or chewing every 15-30 minutes maintain the increased metabolism?

Fuck I wish I still had that study I read on it, but I don't work at the college gym anymore where we had all that on file.

It probably would but since nicotine has a huge diminishing return factor you'd continually have to up the dose. Plus unless you were planning on using the patch or something at night your blood serum levels would fall and your body would scramble to store fat while you slept. Besides the negative side effects would far outweigh the benefits.

Not sure about all that. I quit smoking myself and gained about 50lb's
Nicotine will increase yor metabolism , so when you quit I think it is similar to pulling the rug out from under your thyroid

I would use the patch or gum for a while so you can slowly quit

yeap, few years ago when my husband quit he gained 80 lbs. Took him a year to get down to 230lbs.

Kissing an ash tray??

damn, those are bad memories...

Actually, second hand smoke is kind of nasty for the partner and kids too. So that should be reason enough for her to quit.

And to those who have...Congrats!

my husband is still smoking :worried: We are quiting together

I quit cold turkey about 4 years a go. First step is to really want to quit, otherwise you're going to go through a lot of hassle only to start again after a few days. Next is over coming the "automatics", like automatically getting a cigarette after you get in the car, automatically smoking a ciragerette after eating, etc..... The fist two weeks are the toughest, after that it's cake. Make sure not to avoid other smokers either, this again will be hard at first but believe me when I say that it will be much easier in the long run.

that helps. There is no way in hell I could avoid smokers - they are all around me. I should get used to other people smoking and I dont

for me, i was successful because I was mentally prepared to do so. Its not something you can wake up one say and decide to do. And you have to be committed to never taking another puff ever again. I hope it works for you. Its the single best thing I could have ever done for my health.

I am by no means putting down your efforts, but I was able to quit like that. I woke up one day and said "fuck it, I stop today" and did. It takes a lot of will power though, I know it's not a god idea for everyone.

My Dad quit smoking like that too (almost 25 years ago). He threw the cigarette box out the car window and that was it. My Mom quit like that too shortly after. Back then I don't think they had all of the "tools" people use now to quit. I wish I was older back then to watch them after they quit (withdrawls, the bitchiness, etc.) Knowing what I know now about my parents, that must have been hilarious.

You don't necissarily have to gain weight. Order up some Thermorexin and score some clen. Cycle them in two-week periods and do cardio every 2nd day (your tar-encrusted lungs need it!), and you will drop fat not gain any as long as your diet stays somewhat reasonable.

good for you. i smoked for 7 year. quit about 4 years ago. wasnt easy but not anyone smoking is a turn off for me. good luck and hope u do well.

My understanding of clen and alibuterol is that the relax the muscles of the throat so that you can breath easier. The reason people get asthma attacks is that they inhale something they are allergic to and then the throat swells, thus cutting off the supply of air to the lungs. I didn't think clen and alibuterol had any direct effects on the lungs themselves. I would love to have information on this subject.

You misunderstood me bro...I should have used more punctuation I guess. I was implying that her tar-encrusted lungs need the every 2nd day cardio, not the clen or Thermorexin. The clen and Thermorexin are strictly to keep appetite at bay and to cause fat loss rather than fat gain.
