HUGE bowling ball shoulders :how to

We all love how the pros have such great shoulders like bowling balls. But how do you guys get that mass on your shoulders so it has that nice v cut going down into the arms?

Do you use synthol?
Do you site injcet, if so what?
What are the exercises that you are doing?

Everyone share your stories so we will all have massive shoulders this summer 2011!

Best secret gets KARMA!

Dumbell work, front lifts, side lifts, dumbell flys, just keep hammering the hell outta them.

Number one is genetics. Some people doing a regular shoulder routine develop those big round delts. Others, need to find specific exercises over the course of several years experimenting and observing changes. Mine suck. Due to my genetic structure, regular shoulder exercises hit the front delt and the trap. My front delt and my trap are huge, but for some reason my mid and rear delt stay isolated from regular exercises. It is just now after several years that I have started to experiment with different movements.

If i hold my arm out the small one right over the pecs pops up ,i have had people ask me did i have a broken bone, I got both of those picking up a 35lb air hammer making palletts 8 hrs a day.

my shoulders completely changed when i stopped swinging heavy dumbells for lateral raises, and started using the actual muscle to move low-moderate weight and actually flexing my deltoids.

that and heavy ass presses lol.

they are always the first thing to deflate off cycle though which sucks

as for how to actually perform the lateral raise, i will drop a quote from dannomite, that he said when we trained chest/shoulders one time.

"bend forward just a bit, hold the dumbell with the top facing out [basically this would be your thumbs pointing out, palms forward] and raise and pour at the same time"

so basically at the top its almost like your pointing your pinkey in the air, and tilting the top of the dumbell down like you would pour out a 40 for your homies

Well i guess that genetics does have a large role in how your shoulder appear, but one can always perfect his shape weather he is blessed with giant shoulders or some thing else.

think an important rule is that heavy benchpresses, dips n such, bent over rows indirectly train the shoulders. Thats why many would say that rear shoulder should be trained with the back in a traditional 2split Push - pull

chest - shoulder - triceps
Legs - back - biceps

another thing is that, if you look into lumberjacks their forearms are better build then the normal guys. A swimmers shoulders are better build then a normal guys ect. Question is to find a training routine that makes you able to hit em muscles as hard as you can and still be able to recover from it.

Alot of poeople train 1muscle group each week, and this may very well work for them. But surely this rule does not work for every one, me self i actually need to hit muscles 2-3 times per week this makes me grow alot better then once and heavy assd

Again exercises, i do Military since i can lifter heavier and attack em front delts alot more, dips, laterals, ect.

Who out there has had loose shoulders like me and a shoulder surgery to go along with that(torn labrum) what do you guys do to go big but not go to the dr if ya know what I mean.

Also who thinks shoulder injections help any at all?

I have a torn rotator cuff however i'm helping it grow with peptide injections.

i think the key in alot of people's shoulder development is mind muscle connection and stimulating the fibers in your shoulders. heavy presses are good because you recruit tons of motor units when you perform the lift, but when trying to directly work your shoulders, being able to feel the muscle working is super underrated and not really on the mind of new lifters
