HST Concern

My first day back to training was today. I was psyched, to say the least. The only problem is, my workout kind of sucked. I missed some sets. I'm not a high-rep person to begin with, but it really handed my ass to me. I was wondering if this is normal because it's my first day doing anything physical other than walking in the past 10 days. I ate and slept well, by the by.
 
This happens to a lot of people. It's just the lactic acid. If you're getting sick and feeling terrible, that's a by-product of lactic acid, the desired purpose of the 15's.
 
So, if I don't hit all my reps, it's not a big deal? I mean, I'll try if I can, but if not should I not stress out about it and simply move on to the 10's after the 15's as planned? It won't hinder my gains too much, right?
 
You should be hitting your reps after a couple more workouts. The first time I did HST I got nauseous and barely finished for the first week, but it got better after that.
