Well it's good that you have a good Doctor. The downside to HRT imo is 1 weekly shot, Decreased Sperm count which you and I seem to already have anways...and you need to keep an eye on your adrenal/Thyroid function as well. Other than I can't really think of anymore.
Again I'm 34 and just took this option a couple years ago{My condition causes testicular failure}. I knew it would eventually have to happen anyways. Listen to your Dr. and see what he thinks is best....However if I had to choose between Clomid ED or Injectale Testosterone once per week then obviously the later is a much better option.

liftr486 said:the only genetic thing i have is a y chromosome deletion which causes me to have low sperm but they say it shouldnt affect test levels. i had been doing clomid and hcg for months at a time and my levels did get up and stay up until i dropped the pills and then they came crashing down. the doc asked if i wanted to stay on the clomid indefinitely and i said no cuz it also made me feel like shit. i dont think i ever really had normal bloods....i can remember a blood test when i was younger where my test levels were in the low end of normal and now im in the 800s and thats even with more test than the doc thought i was on...i woulda thought it woulda broke through the 1000 mark. im putting on a decent amount of weight now but i just dont wanna really fuck myself up more. if i really need the hrt, what could be the downside of being on for life with periodic cycles throughout? the doc is pretty liberal too so they actually listen to how i feel and what i think.
