HRT for 21 y/o?

I did take a while off. three years with nothing in my system and still was around 150

So ... from 16-19 or so your test was monitored at 150? And the Dr did not send you to an Endo at a Hospital? Wow. I'm surprised your body matured.

Now I'm thinking you need the Mayo Clinic and I'm not making fun. You can be refered there for a real workup. Applying some Androgel for te next 60 years is not the answer.

3 years and no improvement! I'd say you need professional intervention now. I'm with Lion, find a regional medical center with expertise in endrocrine disorders. You need a complete work-up.

wow u guys are of great help. thanks for joking around about this.

i am seeing one of the leading urologists in new york currently and his diagnosis is hypogonadism. i dont think i need to go to the mayo clinic but thanks for that recommendation. the doctors early on did send me to the head of child endo at lij hospital and he said that my levels should recover. i think by three years they should have recovered. am i wrong by thinking this? i dont thinking that adding another year of being "on a diet, exercise and sleep health kick for 12 months. Clean out your system from anything. You are some type of boomarang that only time will cure." how much time would u (in ur professional medical opinion) give it?

I wasn't kidding! I damn sure wouldn't be seeing a Urologist, you have an endocrine disorder that is not resolving. By your own admission, your Dr. has fail to effectively treat you. I would have been suspect when he chose to treat you with Clomid instead of HCG. Longterm use of Clomid is not without risk. That's just my 2 cents.

these were my bloods from last week (i was on 100mg clomid ed):

FSH 17.5 (1.4-18.1)
LH 6.63 (1.50-9.30)
Estradiol 44 (less than 52)
Test 673 (241-827)

E2 is a little on the high side. Taking any AI's?

Damn bro. I just turned 23 and have fucked up hormones too. Its a hell of a shitty feeling not to 'feel my age'. I know how you feel in that you are tired of feeling like this and want some test to hopefully feel better. I suspect my levels have been outta whack for almost two years and im just now getting tested/treated for it. I first saw an internal medicine doctor which was *almost* a waste of time since she didnt know much. But she referred me to an awesome endocrinologist. After just one hour with the endo, she did more complete bloodwork including IGF-1, and an MRI of my pituitary tomorrow. She feels that based on my symptoms and results of lab work, further testing for GH might be necessary as well as thyroid medicine.

I guess the point im trying to make is to take the previous advice from lion and vertigo and find a great endocrinologist. Make some calls and inquire about experience and treatments endos use in your area/insurance. As there might be more to your problem than just testosterone, like a pituitary problem or thryroid or adrenal functions. I'm so glad/relieved i found a smart endo that knows her shit and isnt afraid to get my levels high enough that i feel good. Im not getting my hopes up yet, but I never thought HGH would even be considered.

Good Luck getting yourself leveled out.

thanks bridger-

i actually did go see an endo early on within the three period that i was off everything and he said that that all my other levels looked fine. i had just come off pct at that time. i actually had a very very slight overactive thyroid reading. when i came back for follow up tests my testosterone levels dropped down to like 169 but every other test was normal. so i was back to square one.
