I have difficulty only with the gals I'm highly attracted to

it's a hold over from my youth as a fat kid
and what happens is some sort of mexican standoff
chciks dont approach me
anybody,anybody else and it's all good
I have years of experience going into homes in which someone has died and I have 2 dozen people to deal with
and all the variants of the death
expected (long term illness at home under hospice care)
quick (heart attack on the kitchen floor)
violent
suicides
I mold my demeanor with the circumstances and then search for ques in the people to go with
often this is in seconds
when I knock on that door I don't know what I'm going to get
I know what's likely
(e.g. suicide)
but I still have to read quick
you can't say anything wrong and every word has to be thought out
and everybody dies
so I know everyone

I an extremely reserved and not likely to speak unless spoken to.
I can be quite content at an event and not have said more than 10 words - I like to watch people, it satisfies my inner voyeur but I don't necessarily care for small talk.
But if I see someone I want to meet or I want to be friends with because there's something about them I like I will walk up to them and introduce myself.
I think (I know) I frustrate people at times and very often people who I am very fond of have no idea because I'm just not a big talker.
