How risky is it to carry a small amount of gear on a domestic interstate flight?

Can anybody explain to me why people say you should wrap your roids in a Carbon Copy in case you want to ship it. I find it hard to believe that X-ray won't go through a carbon copy. Basically the higher the atomic number in the periodic table the more shade and object gets under the X-ray machine, for example X-ray can't penetrate lead because it's atomic number is 82. But carbon has an atomic number of only 6, I would really appreciate it if someone could clarify this matter for me.

tabs are NO problem. the amps are entirely another story. However my cousin went through customs in Aruba, and had a pipe in his pocket that had residue. and the guy smelled it and let him through.. He said he was scated shitless..

I just came back from Cancun last Friday Feb 22 . Took off and landed at BWI right outside of Washington DC. Brought back 10 cc of sustanon in a bottle in my checked luggage. Went through customs and mainly concerned about tobacco and alcohol. Of course with my luck canine walks by the luggage carousel where my bags are. Nothing. Walk out of airport and head home. Should have brought more gear back but didn't.

However, its mostly random searches of your carry on, vs checked in baggage. Mexican airport security a joke. If you didn't have any carry on, let you on the plane . However if you have carry on, went through all of it. Even took your batteries from CD player/walkman away and put in your checked bags.
