How Often Do You Visit The Doc?

when running large amounts i went 2x per month. had a check up every time, blood work every other time, xrays and ultrasound every 6 weaks.

now i run much less but still visit once per month for blood work and a checkup.

I get the bloodwork, but what's the point of the Xrays & Ultrasound?

organs can show signs of stress through these tests. bloodwork alone doesnt tell all. nothing does really.

I hear ya. I had my check-up in August. Next one is a simple blood test in Jan. Next August (2010) comes the dreaded colonoscopy.

2x per month when running heavy cycles sure makes sense joe d.

That's why Im reluctant to go to a Doc during cycle... for now just go after...

my doctor always new exactly what and how much gear i was on. he prescribed me what i needed to keep me as close to healthy as he could. he also offered advice on dieting for health that i didnt take but do now after i came to close for comfort with death. i hand him cash and he does the work.

He already knows. I submit that your doctor mustknow all of the facts related to your health inorder to do his or her job - keeping you healthy! If you cannot be honest with your doctor, then find one that you can be honest with.
