how often do you puke?

I puke during masturbation when I cum, but otherwise I try to keep it to a minimum during excersise.

I've come close several times to either puking or passing out. I almost shit myself once too.
 
I never puke, not when I'm chemically enhanced. ;) Training natural sucks, especially when doing legs, I always end up feeling like shit and feel like puking, but I've never gotten to that point.

i rarely thow up. not from overeating, or from overexertion. the only time is when i have a stomach virus. its been years.

and I don';t see the point

If you puke (from a heavy WO) it probably means you did too much of wathever you were doing and the cons (catabolism, CNS exhaustion, etc) will be way more than the benefits

I almost shit my pants a few times on the leg press. One time I was on third set when hot chick uses smith machine next to me. On each rep I let out a fart and didnt quit until 12, although she soon left. Other time I swear I almost felt something come out as I was farting. I quit and went to check, all ok, back to work. Now I make sure I take a crap before leg day.

Thats funny. I think everybody thats ever trained hard has developed a slight gas leak from time to time, it just sucks that somebody heard it.
 
I've never puked, but I have gotten light headed when working legs, once coming very close to passing out.
 
Back in the day, lol... when I trained very, very hard... I puked after most workouts, usually after abs; but I worked far too hard probably lol.
 
I've felt like I was about to puke or pass out a bunch of times...almost always after high rep squats. I have actually puked a little into my mouth a few times after squats...

So I haven't let loose since 2 nights before my friends wedding in October. Bar was running a buy 4 beers, get 4 shots special...whatever they used for the 'free' shots went straight into the toilet a few hours later so I ended up getting what I paid for.

I'm on about a once a year schedule.
 
i've puked once or twice from 20RM squats. other times it's just getting lightheaded from heavy lifts, usually deads and squats if it happens.

anthrax brings up a good point regarding CNS exhaustion, maybe you hardcore bodybuilder bros should look into it.
 
I puked one time about 3 years ago doing squats with 315 on it. i ended up falling over wasn't a pretty site. This was at the gym at the school I was going to and there happened to be a weight training (PE) class going on so there were like 20 people or so that saw me vomit and fall over with 315 lbs + my 235 lbs at the time all crash to the floor it was NOT a pretty site good thing I didn't destroy my shoulder, neck or back from dropping the weight, it didn't go down evenly

Not at all. Last time was when I was young. Wait. Sorry. When I DXMed and took 2.5g or so. That fucked me up BAD. Other than when I did drugs, haven't vomitted in awhile.

Throwing up from training is retarded. Go ahead and be "hardcore". That's not supposed to be happening to your body.

I hope that wasn't directed at me. I get sick no matter how long I rest between sets, most everybody I know that train their legs with very heavy weight get nausea from time to time. Its not about trying to be "hardcore" , its about building the best legs possible through heavy resistance. I have better developed legs than most because I train "hardcore". Half of the people I see in the gym(juicers included) have very under-developed legs in comparison to the rest of their bodies. I am not one of them.
 
When I push real hard on squats or high rep leg press I get a little dizzy or light headed, but not nauseous. It only lasts a few seconds though.

The only time I can rememeber puking from exercising was after I took the basic navy seal BUD/S pre-qualification entry test in bootcamp and that was only because I ate a HUGE breakfast beforehand lol.

I am not a Navy Seal btw.
 
How was the BUD/S entry test man? What was it like?

andro, it wasn't directed at you. I just hate how people in general will think lifting until exhaustion, until you hurl, 'cause that's counter-productive. It's like going to failure. When you brag about throwing up, you're an idiot. If it happens 'cause of the intensity, and you don't strive for it, it can't be helped...I guess.
 
I've hurled twice during training!! ( not proud of it either )

Once (posted a thread about it not to long ago, "One of those Gyms most embarrising moments") Where I drank a pre-workout shake way to close to my actual workout and hurled it up in front of a couple of hotties at the gym.
Still haven't lived that one down!! :rolleyes:

Only other time I've really hurled at the gym was doing Deads a year or so ago.

Have felt close to hurling many times in the past and have stood over the puke bucket just in case.

We have two puke buckets set up at our gym by both squat racks and I have on many occasions seen guys hurl, so it really doesn't seem all that un-common to me.

Generally when one pukes its from a build up of metabolic by products such as lactic acid build up caused by high metabolic rates (fuel burning rates during work) inside muscle cells and oxygen radicals in the active working muscles. Makes ya' dizzy, light headed and for some nauseated to the point of puking.
 
More times then I can count. From overeating (isnt hard to do with my stomache) and brutal training sessions. Mainly on legs. I used to vomit once a week when I trained legs most of the time. Most of that from leg presses too. Never squatted. Never adjusted to those workouts either. If I didnt vomit Id dry heave with cold sweats.
