same as when I'm on...5 x a week. I feel guilty if I don't make it into the gym at least 4 x a week, but that never happens.

Gotta do 4 times a week. The way I look at it, if I can't make it that many times and push myself while "off".....why go "on"!

I hear that!

Plus I figure, i gotta workout just as much when off as i do when on if I wanna remotely keep my gains. :chomp: :chomp: :chomp:

Word, keeping gains is super important. I also think a lot of injuries happen when people start a cycle when they haven't been lifting hard (or at all) and then go full steam ahead. I gotta keep lifting to keep the joints and tendons strong as well.

Same here 5 a week on or off. I workout 3 days take one off then workout 2 more and take another day off. But my body is split into 4 days. Chest/Bi's, Legs. Delts/Tris, Back/traps. With 4 routines rotating on top of 5 gym days, I get to hit differect muscle groups after the day rest when I am stronges & I dont burn out!

Workouts are the same, I just change the exercises around to target lagging areas. The worst thing to do when youre "off" is not workout as often. THat's how you lose what youve achieved. Like Woody Allen says "Eighty percent of success is showing up." Just get to the gym, even if you lift for 30 min, it's better than slacking. I always beat myself up when I use excuses to workout less when "off".

Same amount of days.....3 days in/ 1 day off/ repeat. The only thing that changes is I like to add a bit more volume when I'm on.

I am sorry but...what? I lift the same as when I am on...why would I do less or more. Many lay back when off which is why they do not progress...thats silly. they slack on diet...its more critical when off.

Usually 5-6 times per week - until the strength and endurance start to go...then, about 4 times.
