You could use it as your only fat source if you wanted, but that would be expensive since you are taking caps. Your fat can come from whatever you want. It is better to keep it on the healthy side. Just make sure whatever fat you consume that it adds up to your fat ratio total for the day.
I use to get most of my fat from flax, fish oil, and safflower mayo when I did CKD.
10 caps a day would be pretty good (10 grams of fat from fish oil)
