Definitely helps, mostly for the younger (<30yrs) crowd, but then you have to consider what type of relationship they're looking for.

Purely physical, it makes up probably 90% of importance. Long term, less than 50%. Serious long term, maybe 33%, behind intellect, intangible values, financial status, etc.

Never hurts to have a good body though, because it's almost always first when hormones are involved in decision-making. That'll never change; just part of nature.
