GoldenDelicious said:yeah if you had picked up as many irregularities in supp formulations as i have, id say you would too. the latest one doing the rounds is this red "cell biology" bullshit that claims to have about 2.5g of some very difficult to dissolve stuff per ml of syrup, all the while looking like nothing more than honey - and as much as i say at the gym that the stuff is total bullshit, people just dont take the info in. they deserve to be scammed
the herbals are classic for that sort of thing as well...people jsut dont know the difference between the amount of active in a piece of stem compared to a bit of leaf
supps are total scams. im going to start my own company one day![]()
Agree largely, but you can't make a blanket statement out of that.
There are some supp manufacturers (ie: AOR, LEF) who meet USP, GMP, etc. standards and provide solid COA's to back it up. ...granted, not all their formulations may be worthwhile, but the onus in on the consumer to make educated decisions about what they put in their bodies.
...and of course, the pharma world has its bad apples too. Ex: Able Labs.
