well... I know when I do decide to build a % of my attic will be made into a room for whatever I desire... I will not put the ol' attic stairs but go with an actual staircase leading up to it so that I can use the room and feel comfortable doing so. So It will be more like a 1-1/2 story home. I will enclose an area for game room or such (weight room will be down stairs due to the weights and such.. just not safe ... not with me.. eek) and then have the outer area with a door for storage. still all with floor's and walls like it would be a second story.

That sounds like a plan.........when are we moving in? :qt:

Oh.. A guest house also... that's a must! We always have someone over here and there. So in the plans a guest house will be there with a full bath and a small kitchenette.

I think I'm gonna win the lottery soon :worried:

First floor is 800sf. It's doable, especially because of the open floor plan, but we really do need more space for toys and a play area. We have the same size space in the basement, but someone uses it for lifting weights instead of a playroom. asshole.

largest i have lived in was 3400sqf

smallest is 600sqf apartment after the divorce, and new wife..

the real deal is the larger the space, the more stuff you have to buy to live in it.. the smaller the less you will spend on "stuff"
