How many of you have no family to celebrate the holidays with?

What do you do for Thanksgiving and Christmas? I worked last Thanksgiving and went to the beach for the day last Christmas...

I don't think I will be able to spend Christmas with my family this year, so I am thinking of a cruise up the Nile and seeing the Valley of the Kings.

I do, but they live in another state. I will try to make it back for at least one of the 2 holidays. Unless something happens, this will be the first set of holidays in which I have no S.O. That sucks. I guess I'll get out cheap tho.

A couple of years back I couldn't go home for thanksgiving, so I gathered a few other friends who were busy and unable to go home and cooked a huge thanksgiving for everyone. we made it as "homey" as possible.

Both my parents have passed away, one of my brothers is way up north and my other brother comes over. My girls and I just hang out. That is pretty my the sad state of my family. I usually hate the holidays.
