People in South Carolina are doing their part. Almost every house on my street has a flag up. I just got back from a prayer vigil at my church. God Bless America!!!!!
I work for a national retail/internet chain, and today we moved over 80,000 American flags. We sold out nationwide just after lunch.....and guess who's job it is to find more?? You Yanks are keeping me pretty busy.
I saw on the news that Walmart is just about out of stock as well...
Anyway, I think it's really cool the way that everyone's bonding together. I've really come to respect the U.S. in the last few days.
Today I wore my "New York #1" blue and white shirt, since I didn't have anything red I actually cut my forearms with one of those needle pens. Even bought a $10 flag pin which all the money goes to the relief fund. Our school held a big service, a bunch of vietnam vets are teachers and counselors so they all spoke their thoughts and everyone song a bunch of american pride songs, was very nice.
I tore out a pull-starts' stomach, wrapped it in his turban, tie-dyed it in red, white, and blue, then shoved that corrosive gut back into his abdomen, sutured the wound up with his veins, and burned his screaming body on my bonfire. I roasted his eyeballs over the fire for a tasty treat afterwards.
