I'm in the program. I celebrated 2 years on July 13th. The program works if it is allowed to, but many people don't want it badly enough their first time around. I'm sponsoring a guy now that is in that situation. but the seed has been planted...

I work the program daily, and my quality of life has increased dramatically. congrats to anyone else who has struggled with addiction and is at least trying to stay clean.

Respect and congratulations to all you guys staying straight. I'll have 4 years next month. I fucked with meth the last two years of hs, and got seriously geeked up my senior year.

Around here we called ourselves "shartards", as in shards that make you act retarded. I've heard only H is harder to kick than that shit. I still go to NA every Thursday night.

damn right, just take it one day at a time. It took me months before even the idea of going a week clean seemed possible.

You can do it. I had to cut all of my "friends" off because they were trying to get me out, always putting shit in my face, etc. I slipped up for about a month and a half in May/ June. Just a huge booze/ blow bender. My body still feels like it's trying to get back to normal. Been good since the beginning of July. Haven't had any cravings either.

That shit's evil.

wow never knew so many peeps did coke.. fun stuff.. i dont really have an addiction because i only get fucked up maybe once a month.. but when i do i get retarded coke/booze.. hopefully ill mature soon and drink only beer.. congrats to everyone for kicking the habits..
